RayAnn Care understands how scholarships are financial tools that can alleviate the cost of higher education, books/fees, and other associated fees. With the average cost of college on the rise, many aspiring students and social workers are looking for options aside from student loans. Thankfully, RayAnn Care recognizes the financial limitations and has dedicated financial resources to help pay for education. Please see information below for individuals who may want to apply for the upcoming 2024-Karen Celina Sonnier Academic Scholarship:
- Applicant must be enrolled at a college or university pursuing a career in a helping profession or any related field.
- Applicant must demonstrate a record of leadership and/or volunteerism in the community.
- Applicant must submit three (3) letters of recommendation (2-professional and 1-personal).
- Applicant must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA and also demonstrate a financial need.
- Applicant must be a resident of Florida.
- Applicant must write a 500-word personal essay.
Award Amount: $500 or $1000 (all information must be submitted by midnight of January 10, 2024)
